How to fix the doul boot menu between winXP/2003 and Vista

That's a good solution to handle the doul boot menu between xp and vista on the condition that you install xp or win2003 in the first partition of harddisk firstly,and then install vista on the second partition of harddisk,then the first partition of harddisk is corrupted or formatted.The steps follows:

1.Boot with Win2008 installation DVD.

2.select repair menu

3.select command line from repair

4.Type "Bootrec /Scanos" to scan the os without listing in boot sequnce.
5.Type "Bootrec /RebuildBCD" to rebuild BCD record files in the first partition of first disk.
6.Type "Bootrec /Fixboot" to add a new record in BCD
7.Type "Bootrec /Fixmbr" to fix the mbr.

8.Then reboot your machine.
9. If the doul boot menu will be not reproducible,you can copy "bootmgr" in your Win2008 installation DVD to your first partition of first disk.
10.Reboot your machine.
You will find a your vista boot menu.

Vmware issue against the hyper-v

I got an issue for vmware.If you install vmware on vista firstly,then install hyper-v,and create a new virtual machine,you will get a bluescreen on host.

Issue on Vmware!!!

I encountered an issue on Vmware.When I open a *.vmx file and *.vmds by vmware workstantion 6,It will pop up a dialog with the caution including the words as follows:"Reason Failed to lock the file".I searched it for the reason and the solutions on Google,but I can not get the solutions on it,just get the reason:
"Permission issue".What a great reason!!!No solution,just no solution.OK,Just do it by myself.I viewed the files and folders on the folder with a *.vmx file and *.vmds,An idea come out in my mind.When I deleted *.loc subfolder and open the *.vmx again,that is a miracle, and the *.vmx can be open smoothly.God!!!What a silly mistake for vmware!!!The lock files will block the *.vmx running smoothly!!!
